Raised on a small cattle ranch in Goodlow, B.C., Brian learned everything about the livestock market and the value of a hard earned dollar. In the oilfield, agriculture industry, and more recently, the forest industry, Brian has gathered a lifetime of knowledge in all areas beneficial to his love of auctioneering. "For several years, Brian Baldry has donated his auctioneer services to the Upper Pine Parent Advisory Council to perform our annual spring auction. He has helped us raise almost $50,000 for various school improvements and projects. We can’t say enough about his professionalism; he has patiently helped inexperienced parent volunteers set up a huge community event that continually gets bigger and better. Brian good-naturedly answers our many questions from anything from advertising to format and uses his experience to give suggestions to keep improving the event. He has managed to sell donated new and used items at top dollar, often working to sell donated services as well as goods. Without any compensation, Brian has made our auction our biggest fundraising event of the year.
