Mares

Plain Havoc

Plain Havoc is a 2005 Chestnut (Solid Paint-Bred), This young bulldog built mare comes to us from Jamie Graves of Armstrong, BC. She has an impeccable pedigree, size, and most of all that good bulldog build that I personally really like in a working cow horse .I feel that this young mare will add some muscling to our herd when bred to our herd sire Bar J Ratchett and with the bloodlines of these two combined should produce some amazing APHA foals. Alces River Maiden is a 1993 Red Dun. Maiden is a small mare at 14.2 HH, but is all horse. She has more energy and stamina than two horses combined, she can run cattle all day, trail ride in the evening, and still be a good kid's mount with energy to burn!

Marchel Sugar Bars

Marchel Sugar Bars is a grey AQHA mare and is the pick of our herd. Sugar is built like a tank and is just as solid, making her a cowboy's dream mount! She has a huge hind end, large chest, and and will work cattle all day. Sugar is fairly new to our program but has thrown consistently excellent foals who have inherited her stocky build.

Queen

"Queen" is a 2004 Percheron filly out of our grey Percheron mare Bess that came in the package deal when we purchased our Percherons. This filly is very stout and conformationally correct. She is expected to mature at around 1900lbs. With her calm gentle nature it is a safe bet that she will be trained in harness and will be a lifelong draft horse on the ranch for feeding and other chores.

Bess

"Bess" is a 1998 grey Percheron mare. She is approximately 16.1hh and about 1700lbs. We love her sweet nature and eagerness to please. She is a good working mare in harness and a real pleasure to work with.
